Job Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative is a vital member of the sales team responsible for generating revenue by selling products or services to existing and prospective customers through phone calls, emails, and other digital communication channels. They play a crucial role in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and achieving sales targets set by the company. The Inside Sales Representative helps to identify prospects, qualifies leads, and supports the process of driving sales from new and existing customers. Must enjoy being on the phone, establishing relationships, and open to exceed a sales quota.

    Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Identifies and researches potential customers within assigned territories or market segments
  • Utilizes various tools and strategies to generate leads, such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach

  • Sales Engagement:
  • Initiates contact with leads and prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and buying preferences
  • Presents product or service offerings in a compelling manner, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions
  • Generates revenue by engaging customers in a value-added sales dialogue
  • Conducts product demonstrations or virtual presentations to showcase offerings, address customer inquiries and asks for the sale

  • Pipeline Management:
  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
  • Leverages CRM to learn about the customer’s buying habits and delivering customized solutions that are thorough using a variety of media and communication channels
  • Tracks and follows up on leads to ensure timely progressions through the sale funnel
  • Collaborates with sales managers and team members to strategize on approaches to maximize sales opportunities

  • Quota Achievement:
  • Meets or exceeds assigned sales quotas and targets on a consistent basis
  • Develops and implements effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share

  • Customer Relationships Management:
  • Builds and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to promote customer loyalty and retention
  • Addresses customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
  • Cross-functional departmental collaboration and a focus on providing outstanding solutions to the customer

  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities
  • Conducts market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product or service improvement and differentiation
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities

  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, product development, the warehouse team and customer support to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback
  • Write orders thoroughly and follow-up with orders to fulfillment, always setting up the right expectations with the customers in terms of stock-outs, alternative products, delivery date, price, and service
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures

 

 

You will love this job if you have:

  • Associate degree with a concentration in marketing, sales, or business administration
  • Strong verbal, written and closing skills
  • 2 to 3 years of telephone inside sales experience or call center preferred.
  • Works well in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivation with the ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to assume responsibility and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excell and familiarity with CRM

For candidates meeting all the requirements, the expected base salary is $50,000 to $60,000 per year. This position earns a variable commission based on growth. The range provided is the salary that Dynarex Corporation in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and experience.
